Preventative Care for Good Health

Most doctors agree, it is far better to prevent a health crisis than to try to treat one when it occurs.  That's why it's so important that you eat a healthy diet, exercise appropriately, maintain an active lifestyle, and visit your general practitioner for regular check-ups and blood work.

Now, most health insurance providers are willing to cover many different preventative treatments, including well visits and specialized exams to evaluate health issues commonly faced by men or women.  However, even if your insurance doesn't cover prevention, you can still save a lot of money paying for it yourself.  Think about your deductible.  Most of us have them!  If you spend a little out of pocket now, think of how much you'll be saving if you avoid a serious medical issue that would require you to pay that deductible later on.

Even if you have to pay your medical bills off over time, doctors accept credit cards, and that preventative medicine will do your body good!
